- This beautifully preserved fossil shark tooth (Carcharocles megalodon) is an outstanding specimen because of its completeness (including bourrelet), serrations, gorgeous enamel, pointed tip and aesthetic shape. This particular gem also has no restoration.

- Megalodon was the largest predatory fish to ever swim the oceans. Astonishingly, Megalodon bite marks have been found in whale bones. Scientists estimate that Megalodon measured 10 feet for every inch of shark tooth length.
- Measures precisely 4.39 inches along longest slant; 4.29 inches along second slant; 3.78 inches wide; and it weighs 120 grams.
