This beautiful marine scene features a wonderfully preserved 10” Fossil shark (Scyliorhinus) associated with several fish, including 3 exceptional Viper Fish (Eurypholis).
Locality: Haqil - Byblos - Lebanon. Age: Cenomanian, Upper Cretaceous, C4, 100 million years old.
Though there is repair to the matrix the fossil specimens are completely natural / unrestored!
