This marvellous blue fossil mammoth tusk is in an outstanding condition – a truly rare find from Yakutia, Siberia. Found preserved in the permafrost, the tusk belonged to a mammoth that inhabited the northern tundra more than 15,000 years ago during the Pleistocene epoch.

This show-stopping fossil is fitting for your home, office or natural history institution. An elegant oak stand highlights its beautiful shape and curvature.

Overall, its completeness and gorgeous coloration – including rare blue, green, ivory white and earthy brown – makes this a superb specimen. This coloration is extremely sought after due to its beauty and rarity. The vivid blue occurs because of the presence of the mineral vivianite.

Dimensions: 8'2" long along outer curve
Weight: 84 lbs
The dimensions of the tusk on the stand: 52" x 50" x 20"
