Fossil Realm is a specialist natural-history advisory and brokerage practice working with private collectors, families, and institutions seeking exceptional fossils, meteorites, and minerals.

Founder Peter Lovisek advises clients on acquisition, placement, and collection development within a highly specialized market shaped by rarity, provenance, preservation, and access. Through established industry relationships and a discreet, highly selective approach, Fossil Realm assists clients in sourcing important material while providing experienced guidance on authenticity, restoration, valuation, and collection strategy.

Representative Projects

Private Collection Development — Long-term advisory relationships assisting collectors in building and refining significant fossil and meteorite collections through tailored acquisitions, private placements, and ongoing collection guidance.

Institutional Acquisitions — Facilitated acquisitions for the CosmoCaixa Science Museum, the University of Waterloo Earth Sciences Museum, and the Museo delle Culture di Lugano (MUSEC).

Landmark Specimens — Represented Willard, one of the largest Triceratops prorsus skeletons discovered. Fossil Realm coordinated marketing, documentation, and transaction support for the specimen prior to its restoration and exhibition at the Hong Kong Science Museum.

Private Installations — Advised on the development of a bespoke fossil collection aboard a superyacht, selecting material ranging from world-class trilobites and iridescent ammonites to significant dinosaur fossils.

Advisory Collaborations — Served as natural history advisor to a fractional ownership platform, helping shape acquisition strategy and collection direction for shared collectors.
