This great 5.0 inch fossil shark tooth (Carcharocles megalodon) is from South Carolina. A very impressive tooth for the price-point! Superb serrations and tip. Megalodon was the largest predatory fish to ever swim the oceans. Astonishingly, Megalodon bite marks have been found in whale bones. Scientists estimate that Megalodon measured as much as 10 feet for every inch of shark tooth length. Age: Miocene, 16 - 25 million years old.

No restoration! A beautiful complete tooth with serrations and a nice tip. Wood and brass display stand included.
