31.5" Woolly Mammoth Tusk

This incredible fossil mammoth tusk is in an impeccable condition – an unbelievable discovery.

The tusk comes from a young mammoth that trekked through the frozen tundra more than 20,000 years ago during the Late Pleistocene. 

This gorgeous fossil is ready to be displayed in your home, office or museum. A custom-made stained solid oak stand showcases its beautiful curvature. 

Overall, this is a superb tusk tip because of its intact tip and gorgeous coloration.

The natural coloration is stunning mixture of beige and earthy brown.

Measures 31.5" long and 3" in diameter, it weighs 5.6 lbs

Our mammoth tusks have been professionally stabilized; however, these specimens must be kept in an indoor environment with stable humidity and temperature. Ideal conditions are 50% to 60% humidity and 68 to 78 degrees Fahrenheit.

Fossil mammoth ivory can be distinguished from present-day elephant ivory by the angle of crosshatching (Schreger lines) and can be traded internationally.
