  • This spectacular fossil shark tooth (Carcharocles megalodon) is a true collector's specimen. Comparable teeth are rarely found. It's highly desirable because of its large size (5.88 inches), completeness (including bourrelet), and overall quality. The enamel and root are near-perfect, it has razor sharp serrations and a pointed tip. This particular gem is totally unrestored.

  • Megalodon was the largest predatory fish to ever swim the oceans. Astonishingly, Megalodon bite marks have been found in whale bones. Scientists estimate that Megalodon measured 10 feet for every inch of shark tooth length. This monster probably measured well over 50 feet long! 
  • Measures precisely 5.88 inches (14.94 cm) at longest edge and 4.31 inches (10.94 cm) weighs 413 grams (14.56 ounces).
