This amazing mineral would add elegance and vibrancy to any home or office. It’s an especially large and captivating piece.

Labradorite is a feldspar mineral, known for its changing flash of colours, called the Schiller Effect. This amazing property, also called “labradoescence," is caused by the diffraction of light between internal fractures in the stone.

Named after the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador, labradorite was introduced to the West by Moravian missionaries, who reached the town of Nain, Labrador in 1771 and acquired specimens from nearby Paul’s Island.
