Mammoth Tusks, Rare Matched Pair - 56"

This piece has been sold, but we may have a similar item available. Contact us online to make an inquiry.

This phenomenal matched pair of curvy mammoth tusks is in impeccable condition - an unbelievable discovery from Southwest Siberia! True matched pairs (tusks from the same individual) are rarely found. Given their rarity and beauty (colour, curvature) these tusks are extremely desirable.

This gorgeous pair is ready to be displayed in your home, office or museum. Hand crafted oak stands showcase their beautiful shape and curvature.

The tusks comes from a woolly mammoth that trekked through the frozen tundra more than 20,000 years ago during the Late Pleistocene.

The natural coloration is a stunning mixture of golden and earthy brown, with creamy white and black.

Importantly, this Ice Age treasure has not been painted over or had large areas filled like many tusks on the market.
