This 63" mammoth tusk is in impeccable condition. An unbelievable find from Southwest Siberia, its natural coloration is a unique pattern of earth tones and creamy white. 

The tusk comes from a woolly mammoth that trekked through the frozen tundra over 20,000 years ago during the Late Pleistocene. 

This Ice Age treasure is ready to be displayed in your museum, home or office. A handcrafted oak stand showcases its beautiful shape and curvature. Note that it has not been painted over or had large areas filled like many other tusks on the market.

Our mammoth tusks have been professionally stabilized; however, these specimens must be kept in an indoor environment with stable humidity and temperature. Ideal conditions are 50% to 60% humidity and 68 to 78 degrees Fahrenheit.

Fossil mammoth ivory can be distinguished from present-day elephant ivory by the angle of crosshatching (Schreger lines) and can be traded internationally.
