  • Megalodon was the largest predatory fish to ever swim the oceans. Astonishingly, Megalodon bite marks have been found in whale bones. Scientists estimate that Megalodon measured 10 feet for every inch of shark tooth length. This monster probably measured over 50 feet long! 
  • Found in Wilmington, North Carolina.
  • Age: Miocene to Pliocene (approx 3 - 7 million years old).
  • Measures precisely 6.08 inches (15.44 cm) at longest edge and 4.71 inches (11.96 cm) wide. Weighs 482 grams (17.0 ounces).
