We are excited about this Open House and Sale which will take place one week before the premiere of "Jurassic World". Here’s your chance to see some amazing real fossils from creatures that star in the movie, including a monstruous mosasaur skull.
We also have a great selection of dinosaur teeth - Spinosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus - as well as mosasaur teeth, all at an affordable price. A great gift option!
There’s also five new spectacular Mammoth tusks from Siberia, plus tons of other new incredible pieces, including gorgeous, rare brittlestars with soft tissue preservation from the Hunsruck slate in Germany.
Fossil Brittlestar from Hunsruck Slate - Bundenbach, Germany. Lower Devonian - 390 million years old.
And there’s much more to see...
We just acquired two old collections – one encompassing 50 years of collecting with many specimens from famous localities.
Included are gorgeous minerals such as rutilated quartz, old fluorite specimens from Illinois, and many more unique crystals. And of course, more fossils, including trilobites, blastoids and crinoids.
For those of you new to Fossil Realm you can expect to see one of the finest collections of museum quality fossils for sale in Canada.
Key specimens include two outstanding fossil garfish, a giant amphibian mortality specimen with 3 skulls, two large Permian amphibians from Germany, stunning pyritized ammonites from Russia, trilobites with soft body parts preserved and impressive megalodon shark teeth.
We also love minerals and have jewellery-grade amethyst cathedrals, glistening pyrite from Peru, quartz crystals, polychrome jasper, and more.
In addition to collector pieces we have a variety of affordable fossils and minerals, such as fossil ferns, cut ammonites, petrified wood cross sections, fossil starfish, sliced dino bone, dendrites, azurite, labradorite, celestine, lapis and more.
Sale runs Saturday and Sunday, June 6-7, from 10am-5pm at Fossil Realm - 60 Basaltic Rd., Unit 18, Keele / Hwy 7 in Vaughan (just north of Toronto, Ontario).
